What can you do with leftover potatoes? All you can do is make classic potato dumplings. Today I would like to share with you a recipe for another way to make use of potatoes. These are potato crumpets with Parma ham. They are excellent as a dinner dish with salad. I think they would be fine with mushroom sauce. They are still tasty the next day with a bit of horseradish.

Sometimes you feel you would like to eat something plain, or maybe something which reminds you of your childhood home. Sometimes you have to prepare a meal because your children ask you what's for dinner, even though they have already eaten at kindergarten, and the only thing to be found in your fridge is an echo. Today's proposals are ideal for a situation like this.

The cookies were sitting on a plate. Their smell lured me towards them. They were difficult to ignore. Regrettably, I had prepared them in the morning. I put them on the table to cool down and had to fight against myself. Sometimes unsuccessfully. At last I locked the "bombs" away in a box and in this way I saved a few for my family. The reason for my morning struggle was some very dark, very chocolaty cookies with walnuts and cranberries.

Everyone would someday like to feel like a real chef or creator and not only a reproducer of other people's recipes. Due to the fact that necessity is the mother of invention, most housewives create new versions of classical dishes without even thinking about it. Some time ago my husband came up with his own recipe. From a few simple ingredients he created an omelette, or rather a farl, which you can serve in various different ways: sweet with fruit, honey or maple syrup, or spicy with fried onion and chili pepper or whatever you like.

Today something yummy and fine for gourmands and great admirers of desiccated coconut. This dish is golden and crunchy on top, and white, fine and fluffy on the inside. They taste fantastic with an afternoon cup of tea. You have to remember to keep the coconut pyramids in a closed box so that they don't dry out and become hard. I rarely have any cookies to put in the box though. They always disappear immediately after baking.
