It was meant to be a cake for children. And it was, but only at the beginning. Thanks to the courtesy of a couple of adults, its size diminished significantly. This dessert doesn't need baking, so it is great even when on holiday, when we rarely have access to an oven. I recommend it as an excellent dessert for the whole family. Unless your favourite dessert is herrings ... In this case I don't recommend it because it is quite sweet. You can prepare it in the evening and leave it in the fridge. The next day the cake will be excellent.

You can use puffed wheat with honey or common puffed rice; then the dessert is less sweet.

I found the inspiration for this dessert on www.smaker.pl "Kinder country – a cake without baking".

Ingredients:
200ml of 30% sweet cream
125g of mascarpone cheese
60g of puffed wheat with honey
100g of petit beurre cookies
100g of white chocolate
200g of dark chocolate
100g of cherry jam

Today I would like to share with you a recipe for a dish which has been served at the Sunday breakfast table for a few weeks now. Until recently, our favourite weekend meal was "egg on a box". A few weeks ago my husband prepared "hambukses". My children wouldn't be themselves if they didn't moan and groan before seeing and trying something new for breakfast. A novelty on a plate is suspicious, and it is necessary to take precautions by embellishing it with an appropriate serving of grimaces. Today "hambukses" have a permanent place on our home menu.

Fresh crusty kaiser rolls are essential when preparing "hambukses". You may also brown them in a toaster. Equally important is fresh fragrant ham. You can fry the eggs the way you like them. In our home everyone has their preference: with runny yolk which daintly drips from the kaiser roll, more congealed or well done.

Ingredients:
4 kaiser Rolls
4 slices of cheese
4 slices of ham
4 eggs
2 dill pickles
2 tablespoons of butter
a fistful of radish shoots

Breakfast is a very important meal. Everybody knows this. A hungry man doesn't think about his job and learning, but only about his rumbling stomach. Breakfast which is healthy and tasty, but above all fast and easy to prepare, is worth its weight in gold. This dish is appreciated by every mum who is in a hurry to get both herself and her children ready. Morning fussiness really doesn't help this along.

I would like to share with you a breakfast which you can partly prepare in the evening and finish off in the morning and then serve as a dish fit for a king. You should soak some chia seeds in milk and leave them overnight. You can use cow's milk or coconut milk (I use a mixture of both) or if your children don't drink cow's milk, use soya milk (maybe vanilla soya milk – the best for children). Serve with your favourite fruits, desiccated coconut or roast almond slices.

Ingredients (for 4 people):
3 tablespoons of chia seeds
100ml of milk
200ml of coconut milk
3 tablespoons of honey
½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
mango
3 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
150g of blueberries

Poppyseed cakes, ginger cakes, cheese cakes ... the traditional Christmas table groans with excellent, sweet food. Mums, aunts and grandmas excel in preparing new, surprising goodies. Today I would like to share with you a recipe for a dessert which on the one hand is traditional because it is a cheese cake, and on the other hand is simpler and served in a slightly different way.

Oreo mini cheesecakes will be a beautiful and very tasty treat on the Christmas table. They are easy to prepare, and you can make them between preparing the Christmas Eve soup and baking loin. They will be appreciated by very busy housewives, and all children will be delighted with the small sweeties.
The recipe comes from www.haps.gazeta.pl

Ingredients (for 12 mini cheese cakes):
250ml of 30% sweet cream
400g of mascarpone cheese
3 teaspoons of caster sugar
22 oreo cookies
lemon zest
75g of dark chocolate
3 walnuts
peppermint leaves

Gratineed toasties are one of my daughter's favourite dishes. Usually, I add ham, cheese, gherkins and onion and spice them up with curry powder. Recently, I have gone off ham, so today I added a filling without meat to the toasties. I combined spinach, dried tomatoes and walnuts, but without stretched cheese, toasties don't exist. I replaced ordinary cheese with mozzarella.

You may serve the toasties as a hot supper, or with beetroots or tomato sauce they can be an alternative to traditional soup.

Ingredients:
10 slices of toast bread
2 tablespoons of butter
300g of spinach
3 cloves of garlic
4 dried tomatoes
200g of mozzarella cheese
6 walnuts
salt and pepper
