My grandma used to say that only stupid people like labour. Unfortunately, I'm one of these people. I can't lie about. I can always find something to do. Sometimes after cleaning all the windows in my home, I decide to prepare stuffed cabbage leaves for the next day's dinner.

However, this doesn't mean I can't appreciate satisfying dishes called "eintopf", which are enough for a whole dinner. One such dish is goulash soup. You can prepare it with your favourite meat. I think that the one of kind of meat I don't use for goulash soup is chicken, but maybe I should think again? Recently I experimented and made this soup with turkey leg. It was excellent and cooked more quickly than with other meat.

Ingredients (for 2 people)
500g of meat of turkey leg
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 carrots
1 parsley root
half a red pepper
5 potatoes
5 sprigs of rosemary
2 teaspoons of sweet paprika
1 teaspoon of hot paprika
2 tablespoons of flour
4 bay leaves
4 juniper berries
oil
salt and pepper

Actually, I don't dig cool soups. My husband always complains that I serve them too hot. cold soups are the exception of course. Until now I have made cold beet soup with chard and a white cucumber-peppermint soup. My son doesn't like the first one. Pink soup is so unmanly Mrugnięcie

Recently, I prepared another version of my most summery soup. Creamy cold radish soup with a hint of garlic and thyme was refreshing and very tasty and only takes a moment to prepare. It is the best with new potatoes liberally sprinkled with dill. It is an excellent dish for a quick and easy dinner on a hot summer day. And it is only a little bit pink ...

The recipe comes from "Smaki życia" ("Flavour of Life") by Agnieszka Maciąg.

Ingredients (for 4 people)
2 bunches of radishes
1l of natural yoghurt
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of minced thyme
4 tablespoons of minced chives

Everybody in my home likes fish. I would prepare it more often, but it is not easy to find a fishmonger I can trust, where I may buy tasty and fresh fish. Today we tested one of the recommended small fishmongers. In this modest housing estate shop you can buy products from the river, lake and seas and also others from ecological sources. We were not disappointed and we will visit this shop often.

Today we had fresh fillets of red snapper on our table. Raw red snapper is light red, but after baking the meat is white and mild. I served it with green asparagus spears and an interesting tasting salsa with low-salt cucumbers. A big asset of this dish is its flavour, spectacular looks and that it only took 30 minutes to prepare. I like this kind of dish!

Ingredients (for 4 people)
800g of red snapper fillets
6 sprigs of thyme
3 sprigs of rosemary
4 cloves of garlic (unpeeled)
salt, white pepper
salsa
4 low-salt cucumbers
half a red pepper
half a chili pepper
2 cloves of garlic (peeled)
4 tablespoons of minced chives
2 teaspoons of honey
the juice from half a lemon

Everybody in my family knows that broth is my favourite soup. But when I think about cooking and eating it when it is 30C outside, I feel hotter. On these summer days I definitely recommend light and refreshing cold soups.

Until now I have made cold beet soup with chard as the base ingredient. My husband and my dad both like this kind of cold soup. Today I tried a new version of cold soup. Cold cucumber soup with natural yoghurt with dill and peppermint leaves was excellent. You may serve it with hard boiled eggs or new potatoes.

Last Saturday I was lazy and I didn't have any culinary ideas. When I asked my children what they would like for dinner, they answered "Pizza!". Strangely enough, this rarely happens nowadays. Unfortunately, they couldn't agree what should be on the pizza. I made the decision – otherwise I would have to add every kind of meat, ham, some shrimps and half a vegetable market.

Recently, asparagus spears have become a permanent product in my kitchen, so I decided that they would be the main ingredient of my pizza. I added to them some salami, two kinds of cheese and black olives. At first sight it is an unconventional combination, but it was surprisingly tasty. It was so yummy that my impressed daughter forgot to cover everything with ketchup.

Ingredients:
ready pizza base
1 tin of tomatoes (cubed)
half an onion
3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of butter
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
150g of sliced salami

black olives
