At the Polish seaside you can eat virtually anywhere. I have a few favorite places which serve tried and trusted and interesting food. Today I would like to recommend the fish and chip shop, U Cywila, in Niechorze. This is a place worth visiting with varied and tasty dishes.
Saving monuments
Everybody has visited the ruins on the Eagle Nest Trail in Poland at some point. They are a testimony to history and the passing of time. Not all of them are treated the way they deserve to be. Some of them are protected by people with passion, others crumble, slowly becoming a picturesque stack of stones. The castle of Bobolice met with a different fate.
Pionier – a cinema from the Guinness Book of Records
In Poland we should be proud of many achievements. For example, advanced inventions which have changed the modern world, medical achievements, sportspeople, musicians... But it is not only modern things that we can be proud of. Today I would like to tell you about a place for which we have historical pride. Pionier cinema – one of the oldest nonstop functional cinemas in the world.
Tomo Sushi – not just excellent food
In Warsaw there are a few good sushi restaurants. Tomo Sushi on Krucza Street stole the hearts and tummies of my family. The delicious food and nice service attracts us like a magnet.
The grass and ice-cream – Jasne Błonia in Szczecin
During my last stay in Szczecin I found a place straight from a London park: Jasne Błonia, where a large clean green area of grass entices one to relax. My children went crazy. They ran as if they had never seen such a big amount of grass. Clean, green joy and madness. The knees of their trousers envied the grass its colour. The stains were very difficult to clean off.
