It is rather strange that I have only just prepared this breakfast. It is excellent after a heavy Christmas diet with cabbage, mushrooms and roast meat. Eating the millet groats pudding I thought to myself: why didn't I come up with it myself when I was looking for an easy yummy and healthy breakfast? From today, thanks to www.naszakasza.pl I have a new dish for a swift breakfast which every fan of millet groats and banana will love. Everyone else might be tempted by the many types of fruit and a few people by a little chocolate. After all, no one will notice, will they? Is there anyone left? I do not think so Therefore, enjoy your meal.
Ingredients (for 2 people)
100g of millet groats
200ml of almond milk
half a teaspoon of butter
a pinch of salt
2 bananas
2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice
fruit
desiccated coconut, almond flakes, nuts
Cook the millet groats in a pot with a heavy bottom always in 1:2 proportion. Put the millet groats into a sifter and clean them with cold water, then douse them with hot water. Thanks to this you will remove the impurities and bitter flavour. Boil the milk with the salt and butter. Put the millet groats in and boil them with the lid on, without stirring, for 18 minutes until the liquid has evaporated. Crush the bananas with a fork, add the lemon juice and mix it in. Add the bananas to the boiled millet groats and mix them in. Put the mixture into some bowls. Decorate with fruit, almond flakes and desiccated coconut, and if you like a bit of chocolate. Serve at once!
Enjoy your meal!
