Summer Holidays are coming. I'm happy about the thought that every day, laden like a camel with beach gear, I will follow the path to the beach. According to my children, this is what holidays are all about. In some holiday towns new amusements have appeared which give parents some breathing space. One such place is Whale Park in Rewal.

During my last stay in Szczecin I found a place straight from a London park: Jasne Błonia, where a large clean green area of grass entices one to relax. My children went crazy. They ran as if they had never seen such a big amount of grass. Clean, green joy and madness. The knees of their trousers envied the grass its colour. The stains were very difficult to clean off.

In Warsaw there are tree-covered districts and places which, for different reasons, look like a rocky dessert. In recent years I have watched with pleasure the tendency to create plazas and make green infrastructure around new investments. Maybe in the future every district will feature a park. We may enjoy the increasing revitalization of existing areas of recreation.
