It is common knowledge that strange cravings are the preserve of pregnant women. I remember that when I was pregnant I called my husband up to buy some herrings or pineapple. There was the time when I ate only fried sausage, carrot with peas, broth, and pasta with strawberry sauce. I admit that now when I think about it, I feel dizzy Apparently, sometimes husbands join their wives in these caprices. I don't understand the reason for this activity, but maybe it is an excuse to stuff oneself without remorse?
You don't need to be pregnant to want to eat something special. We like light dishes with groats, salads, vegetables and fish, but as the old saying goes: "Sometimes a man just has to, otherwise he'll suffocate". When we "have to" we attack something concrete. This time it was fair fillet steaks. Some fresh salad and broccoli purée topped up the dinner. The dish was beautiful and very tasty. In any case, try it for yourselves.
Ingredients:
4 fillet steaks
3 tablespoons of olive oil pepper
pepper
Heat the oven up to 180C. Cover a baking sheet with some baking paper.
Smooth the fillet steaks with the olive oil and spice them up with pepper. Heat a pan and fry the steaks well on both sides (about two minutes on each side). Put them on the baking sheet and bake for 2-3 minutes to make rare steaks, for 5 minutes for medium and 10 minutes for well-done steaks. I baked mine for 7 minutes and they were excellent. Take the meat out from the oven and let the steaks "rest" for 2-3 minutes. Serve with your favourite side dishes.
Enjoy your meal!
