Today I would like to share with you the recipe which gave me the courage to bake cakes and cookies. It can be found on a small yellow piece of paper glued into an old notebook. My sister also uses this recipe and I think I will pass it on to my daughter.
Ingredients:
200g of margarine for baking
330g of sugar
3 tablespoons of cocoa
175ml of water
3 eggs
3 tablespoons of cream
350g of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 bar of dark chocolate
Put the margarine, sugar, water and cocoa into a saucepan and boil to combine the ingredients. Leave it to cool down. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Now heat the oven up to 180C. Mix the yolks in with the cream. Mix in the flour and baking powder. Add the yolk mixture to the cold chocolate mass and mix it in, then stir constantly while adding flour and baking powder. To finish, add crumbled dark chocolate. Smooth a cake tin with fat and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or flour. Pour the dough onto the tin. Bake it for 45 minutes. After baking, glaze with chocolate glaze and decorate with whatever you like: nuts or desiccated coconut.
Enjoy your meal!
